20mm Kingspan TF70 ThermaFloor PIR Insulation Board 2.4m x 1.2m
When floor depth is the limiting factor, 20mm Kingspan Thermafloor® TF70 is the slimmest board in the range that still pulls its weight thermally. This fibre-free polyisocyanurate (PIR) board lays over solid concrete or suspended timber ground floors and lifts thermal performance without pushing up threshold heights or eating into headroom, so it earns its place on overlays and tight refurbishments. It runs a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and returns a thermal resistance of 0.90 m²K/W*, with reflective foil on each side. The entry point where every millimetre of build-up counts.
Benefits
- 0.90 m²K/W* thermal resistance from a 20mm board
- Slimmest profile in the range for tight build-ups
- 0.022 W/mK PIR core, thermally efficient
- Reflective low emissivity foil to both faces
- Fits new build and refurbishment floors
- Load-bearing to 120 kPa at 10% compression
- Light to handle and simple to trim on site
Good to know
- Resists the passage of water vapour
- Each 2400mm x 1200mm sheet covers 2.88m²
- Covered by BBA Certificate 14/5133 (20 to 150mm)
- Best stored inside, or covered and raised off the ground outside
*The 20mm R-value is calculated using Kingspan's stated method (thickness in metres divided by 0.022 W/mK, rounded down to the nearest 0.05 m²K/W). Kingspan's printed table begins at 25mm.
