20mm Kingspan TP10 ThermaPitch PIR Insulation Board 2.4m x 1.2m

20mm Kingspan TP10 ThermaPitch PIR Insulation Board 2.4m x 1.2m

20mm Kingspan Thermapitch® TP10 is the slimmest board in the range, most at home as a supplementary layer rather than the main insulation. Its low emissivity foil faces make it useful over or under rafters where a thin thermal boost is wanted without eating into headroom, or as one layer in a build-up. The fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) core runs a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and returns a thermal resistance of 0.90 m²K/W*. Where space is tight and only a thin board will fit, this is the starting point.

Benefits

  • 0.90 m²K/W* thermal resistance from a 20mm board
  • Slim profile for supplementary over or under-rafter layers
  • Fibre-free PIR core rated 0.022 W/mK
  • Low emissivity foil facings that lift the thermal resistance of an adjacent unventilated cavity
  • Unaffected by air infiltration
  • For tiled and slated pitched roofs
  • Suits new build and retrofit roofing
  • Light to handle and simple to cut

Good to know

  • Resists the passage of water vapour
  • Each 2400mm x 1200mm sheet covers 2.88m²
  • Works in ventilated and unventilated pitched roofs
  • BBA Certificate 14/5133 covers the 20 to 140mm thicknesses
  • Store inside, or raised off the ground and covered if kept outside

*The 20mm R-value is calculated using Kingspan's stated method (thickness in metres divided by 0.022 W/mK, rounded down to the nearest 0.05 m²K/W). Kingspan's printed table begins at 25mm.
